We love fundraising at CaseWare and the team go all out for our charity efforts. For 3 years, we have held fundraising events as an opportunity to raise as much money for our charity partners. This year, we are hoping our efforts will be better than ever with the events we have planned throughout the year.
This coming year, we are proud to announce the two charities we are supporting is Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance and Guide Dogs for the Blind. Every year, our charities are nominated and selected by CaseWare employees.
The KSS Air Ambulance has been a registered charity since 1989, the air ambulance service responds to patients who have suffered trauma or serious medical emergencies to the people of Kent and the South East. Following the commencement of blood on board, the helicopters have enabled the ability to perform transfusions at the scene. More recently, they have expanded their service with a second helicopter to help cover the South East area.
The second charity for 2017 is Guide Dogs for the Blind. For more than 80 years, they have provided mobility and freedom to thousands of blind or partially sighted people around the United Kingdom. They also campaign for the rights of the visually impaired and invest in eye disease research.
CaseWare’s fundraising Leader Bex Moreland explains more about our charity efforts: ‘In 2017, we are keen on beating our previous fundraising targets, the two charities we have decided to support this year have been charities we have worked with before. We appreciate what both do for the Kent community and are more than happy to carry on supporting them. Hopefully, the donations will go a long way and make a difference to the two organisations. I’m sure you will agree with us the value that these charities bring and the difference they have made and will continue to make to the lives of those they work hard to care for and support’
