CaseWare UK attending Accountex 2016
With so many changes taking place in the accounting industry, such as the introduction of FRS 101 & 102, new budget implications and the ongoing IFRS 9 debate, it’s important to remain at the forefront of these issues. The range of technologies available to help accountants and auditors perform efficiently and ensure compliance with new regulations is also ever-increasing.
Accountants can get ahead of the competition at Accountex, the largest independent event in the UK’s accountancy industry, held at ExCel London between 11-12 May 2016.
Visited by 5,500 accountants across practices, in-house departments and the public sector, there will be 200 exhibitors, from sectors including specialist tax consultancy, company formations, recruitment and training and CRM.
CaseWare UK will be attending Accountex (Stand a812), showcasing its suite of accounting and audit software with its best practice solution for producing compliant, iXBRL ready accounts. Up to date with the latest reporting standards, including accounting and reporting software for academies, incorporating one of the best fully compliant templates on the market.
As well as exploring the emerging trends in accounting support and technology, there will also be 13 dedicated theatres with 169 educational and inspirational sessions across the two days that are Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accredited.
The themes that are set to lead the seminars include the four threats to accountancy firms and how to overcome them, how accountants can make technology work harder to boost productivity and the future of cloud accounting, with inspirational sessions featuring speakers from AccountingWEB, 2020 Innovation & Sage UK Ltd.
Simon Warren, Managing Director of CaseWare UK, will be running a session exploring ‘The Future of Audit in the Era of the Cloud?’. The seminar will cover the ongoing influence that cloud technology has on the auditing practice including team collaboration, practice efficiency, visualisation of the audit file and the automated audit. Simon will also reveal CaseWare’s new products to be released in 2016, explaining the concepts behind them.
